Beginning Ballet
(Ages 5 - 8)


Monday 6:00 - 6:30
The perfect class to begin a ballet education. A combination of our Pre-Ballet and Ballet Level 1 curriculum.
Ballet Level 1
(Ages 6 & Up - 30 minute class) Monday 5:30 - 6:00

Stories, games and special dances bring our step syllabus to life. Children learn and thrive within the gently structured and fun environment of a real ballet class! This is the first level of technique class.
Ballet Level 2*
(Requires Permission - 45 minute class)






Thursday 6:00 - 6:45 (PA at 6:45)




For ages 9-12 Wednesday 5:30 - 6:15
Barre work is introduced; students move forward in our step syllabus. Class follows structure of classical ballet class in a nurturing and supportive environment.
Ballet Level 3*
(Requires Permission - 60 minute class)
Barre and center exercises focused on balance, stability, and building strength in preparation for toe shoes.
Ballet Level 4*
(Requires Permission - 75 minute class)







4B Pointe Thursday 6:45 - 7:30
Beginning pointe level. As each female student is deemed ready, she is given permission to begin lessons on toe. Work in ballet slippers continues. Every precaution is taken to ensure our dancers’ safety.
Ballet Level 5*
(Requires Permission - 90 minute class) 5A/B Thursday 7:30 - 8:30
Advanced barre, center and pointe work in a classical ballet class format. Meets 3 times per week.
Teen Rec
(Ages 13 & Up - 60 minute class) Wednesday 6:00 - 7:00
Teens learn at their own pace with their own age group. Class format follows classical ballet class structure.
ADULT /TEEN DANCE
Kids Tap
(ages 9 & Up - 30 Minute class)
Try It Sessions begins in January
Beginning to Intermediate class for kids beginning or returning to tap. Great exercise! Great fun! Come learn to shuffle & shim sham.

Teens & adults learn at their own pace with their own age group. Beginning to intermediate barre, steps & stretches. Class format follows classical ballet class structure. For those who have always wanted to try ballet, or for those returning.
THEATRE AND JAZZ
Theatre

Acting is very important to dancers since we tell stories, but without words. Learn theatre warm ups, facial expressions, improvisation, etc.
HipHop/Funk
(4th Grade & Up - 60 minute class)

Come and get a peek inside the Elkhorn Area High School Dance Team. Learn their style of dance from coach, Bonny Gray, meet other prospective dancers and have fun!
CREATIVE MOVEMENT AND MODERN
Mommy and Me
(For Moms and their Toddlers age 2 & 3)
Thursday 12:30 - 1:00
Experience movement and learn with your child! 30 minutes of music, dance, poems and finger play. Perfect way to learn & interact with your child as you introduce him/her to the art of dance.
Modern Class for older middle & high school students. Graham method + theatre jazz taught by local area master teacher, June Wilhite. Previously an “Artist in Residence” at the Noyes Cultural Art Center in Evanston, IL, Ms. Wilhite now shares her extensive knowledge with our dancers. Extensive ballet experience required
